Welcome to the Journal for Researching Education Practice and Theory (JREPT). The Journal is run by the Faculty of Education, The British University in Dubai (BUiD). JREPT provides opportunities for education faculty, research students in education and those interested in the practice, theory and policies in education to share and debate new knowledge, innovative ideas and practices. JREPT is an open access journal and welcomes original research reports, working papers; reflections, reports on educational initiatives and relevant book reviews. The work must be of quality and context that the editorial team deem fit for the readership of the journal.

Call for Papers

Researching Education Practice and Theory (JREPT): Call for Papers for upcoming Inaugural Special Issue
The Editorial Board of the Journal for Researching Education Practice and Theory (JREPT) is calling for papers for its upcoming Inaugural Special Issue. The Board is interested in receiving papers from a range of education related areas consistent with its scope, including (but not limited to):
*Science Education
*Special and Inclusive Education
*Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Applied Linguistics
*Second and Foreign Language Education
*Educational Leadership
*Educational Management
*International and Comparative Education
*Curriculum and Instruction

Submissions can be based on:


o Research reports/articles
o Working papers
o Reflective accounts on an educational initiative
o Book Reviews
Instruction for Submission
Submissions should be approximately 4,000 – 8,000 words including abstract, appendices, and references. Note that all contributors are encouraged to highlight the implications of their work for practice, policy, theory and further research. The deadline for submission of papers is 31st August 2017. All submissions must adhere to the journal guidelines at http://www.jrept.org/Submissions.html
